Noeline Apiata
Te Tai Hauāuru
Noeline was born in Helensville and was raised in Ngaruawahia, where she still lives today. She has been married to her husband for 35 years and together they have five children and 14 grandchildren.
“I believe in: Truth. Facts. Transparency. Freedom of choice is absolute.
We have never experienced anything like Covid-19 before.
We have never locked down our country before.
We have never seen such an incursion on our civil rights before.”
Noeline is deeply concerned that recently created laws are destroying fundamental rights, freedoms and privileges - all under the guise of protecting the public.
For the past 32 years Noeline has had the privilege of working for many Iwi, Governmental and Community organizations in New Zealand and Australia in various capacities around youth, community, family, and mental health. She is passionate about holistic well-being.
Noeline is standing for Advance NZ to be a voice for all the peoples of New Zealand, to ensure our freedoms and rights are upheld. She would like to be part of a team that will help facilitate change to reduce poverty, violence, and homelessness in Aotearoa.
Her motivation is her grandchildren and for the grandchildren of all Kiwis - to have the right to live in a country where their fundamental human rights are enshrined and protected.
